MINT rehab is a private Orthotic clinic, based in Preston. Orthotics and Orthoses are not commonly recognised words but Orthoses are anything that we apply to the body externally.
This could be an insole within your shoe, a complex spinal brace to address spinal deformity or a brace or even a electrical device worn on your leg to correct a foot drop and everything in-between.
Expert Witness
With an extensive background in orthotics, Tom can provide a reliable analysis of medical records, conduct independent examinations, prepare reports on the nature and extent of injuries, and the impact of orthotic treatment.
His expertise encompasses both the design and fitting of orthoses, as well as the management of related conditions. He has over 5 years experience of providing expert witness reports and has assisted both prosecution and defence.
Bioness Specialists
We are certified providers of the Bioness Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) device which is used to address a drop foot.
This stimulates your muscles to pick your foot up, in the way that they once did and is particularly impactful if you have suffered a foot drop as a result of a stroke, multiple sclerosis or indeed from a significant number of other neurological injuries. This can improve your walking helping to restore your confidence.
